Driver ejected from Jeep in Lucia Falls Road crash; Life Flight called for transport

An injured driver was taken by Life Flight to a local hospital Tuesday morning after crashing in a ditch near Moulton Falls Regional Park in north Clark County on.

The Clark County Sheriff’s Office, North Country EMS and Clark County Fire District 13 were dispatched about 7:15 a.m. to 26931 Northeast Lucia Falls Road near Yacolt after a report of an injury collision, according to a statement from the Clark County Sheriff’s Office.

They found a 1992 Jeep Wrangler in the northern ditch along the road. Bystanders were trying to help the woman, who was unconscious underneath the vehicle. The extent of her injuries was not available.

Life Flight landed at Pomeroy Farms, according to Clark County Fire District 13. “Crews worked together treating and packaging the critical patient” for transport from the scene to the Life Flight landing site, where she was transported to a trauma center.

Initial investigation found the driver left the roadway and rolled the vehicle. The driver did not appear to be wearing a seatbelt and was ejected.

The driver’s identity has not been released.

The Clark County Sheriff’s Office Traffic Unit is investigating the collision.
