Poets of all ages and experience are encouraged to submit poems for the Poetry Moves program, a partnership between Artstra and C-Tran.

Short poems by residents are displayed inside C-Tran buses. Artstra is accepting submissions for Season 14 of the poetry program. The deadline is Aug. 20. Poems will be showcased on buses starting in October. Anyone living in Clark, Cowlitz, Skamania, Multnomah, Washington or Clackamas counties is invited to submit poems. A maximum of two poems may be submitted, each of which must not exceed seven lines and must be the poet’s original work. Nine poems will be selected by 2016 Jack Straw Fellow Robert Lashley. Selected poets will receive a $100 honorarium. See artstra.org/submit-poetry for guidelines and submission forms.
