Letter: Spend money on clearing roads

By Etha Bohr, Vancouver
Published: January 27, 2024, 6:00am

Washington spends taxpayers’ money on people who don’t pay taxes, the homeless. Yet the government cannot spend our money to keep our roads plowed and schools open when it snows, which happens at least two or three times a year. Kids don’t learn. People can’t work. Businesses can’t open and pay taxes to the government.

This is dysfunctional. Stop wasting our money.
