Letter: Stand up against Trump

By Bill Kelley, Yacolt
Published: January 23, 2024, 6:00am

You see by the Iowa caucus the Republican Party is a disgrace. All those in it. You are known by the company you keep, to repeat a phrase. Republicans should all look at themselves in the mirror and start asking questions of themselves. Do they tell their children to be like Trump? I have faith other Americans who do believe in democracy and this country will not let Trump be voted in. Time for real patriots to stand up, not the Jan. 6 kind.

We encourage readers to express their views about public issues. Letters to the editor are subject to editing for brevity and clarity. Limit letters to 200 words (100 words if endorsing or opposing a political candidate or ballot measure) and allow 30 days between submissions. Send Us a Letter
