California restaurant Dave’s Hot Chicken is opening its first Clark County location in Hazel Dell later this year.
The restaurant, opening as early as June, is set to take over 3,000 square feet of retail space at Hazel Dell Marketplace, 408 N.E. 81st St., Vancouver.
The chicken empire, which has about 100 locations around the country, started as a food cart in East Hollywood in Los Angeles. There are three locations in the Portland metro area, but this will be the first in Southwest Washington.
The restaurant serves chicken tender meals and sandwiches with seven different spice levels.
