RIDGEFIELD — Ridgefield School District officials recognized the January 2024 employee and students of the month at the Jan. 9 school board meeting.
The January employee of the month is Kalin Heath, human resources.
Heath was honored for her “can do” attitude and handling sensitive employee situations with empathy, confidentiality, and professionalism. She just completed her master’s degree in human resources while working full time and managing the extracurricular activities of two young daughters.
Students of the month are: Pre-K student at Early Learning Center Henry Frasier; first-grader at Wisdom Ridge Academy Thomas Crumbaker; first-grader at South Ridge Elementary School Lane Salvagno; third-grader at Union Ridge Elementary School Georgia Pyle; sixth-grader at Sunset Ridge Intermediate School Bobby Sander; seventh-grader at View Ridge Middle School Lucia Finley, and senior at Ridgefield High School Joon Luery.
