Clark County Public Health is accepting nominations for its 2024 Green Awards.
The annual event recognizes both individuals and organizations who are local leaders in environmental sustainability.
Nomination categories include:
- Three respective Green Business Awards for a business with 25 or fewer employees, a business with more than 25 employees and a nonprofit or government organization.
- A Green Apple Award for an individual involved in public or private school sustainability initiatives, projects and programs.
- A Green Team Award for three student green teams in public or private elementary, middle and high schools.
Submission forms for businesses are available on the Clark County Green Business website, www.clarkgreenbiz.com/news-and-events/green-awards. School-related nomination forms are available on the Clark County Green Schools website at www.clarkgreenschools.org/news/green-awards.
The submission deadline is Feb. 5, and winners will be announced in April.
