Clark County to hold lottery for fireworks permits

The Clark County Fire Marshal’s Office is accepting applications for four retail permits to sell fireworks. The permits will be assigned by lottery.

Fireworks cannot be sold in the county without a permit.

Applications for the permit lottery are available at clark.wa.gov/community-development/fireworks.

Only one completed application is allowed per person or organization.

Applications are due by 4 p.m. March 22 at the Clark County Fire Marshal’s Office, 505 N.W. 179th St., Ridgefield, WA 98642.

Applications postmarked by the March 22 deadline but not received by the fire marshal’s office will not be considered.

The lottery will take place the week of March 25. Applicants chosen by lottery will be contacted immediately.
