Letter: Repeal Climate Commitment Act

Washington citizens who use gas to heat their homes are now being penalized for how we heat our homes. Gov. Jay Inslee’s Climate Commitment Act is costing me $240 more a year on my gas bill. He wants to control our choices by making it too hard to heat your home. Would he prefer I use electric? That bill just went up 14.5 percent. My home is small. These charges will be much higher for larger families. Please join me in repealing the Climate Commitment Act when the initiative to do so is presented on the next voter ballot.
