Being new to Vancouver, the city bus has made me feel right at home. They are doing a great service moving people around town, helping us reduce atmospheric carbon. To that end all drivers need to try it at least occasionally. For a fun adventure, ride a bus’s full route. It’s easy to learn their routing and schedules at c-tran.com. The drivers are friendly and helpful with provisions for wheelchairs, walkers, small carts and bicycles. I especially like the Vine buses on Fourth Plain and Mill Plain. They are on time and frequent with helpful reader boards and well-placed stops.
