PeaceHealth Medical Group Chief Executive Scott Foster has announced his resignation.
Foster’s last day with PeaceHealth will be March 8, according to an announcement from Executive Vice President and Chief Financial and Growth Officer Darrin Montalvo.
Foster joined the PeaceHealth system in 2014 and became the chief executive in 2022. He is stepping down due to family priorities.
“Dr. Foster shared this choice stems from the need to provide dedicated support to his aging parents in Scotland. Their increasing care needs require his full attention,” Montalvo said in the announcement.
Melissa Edwards, chief medical officer of PeaceHealth Medical Group, will become interim chief executive effective immediately. Chief Operating Officer Dawn Tolotti and Chief Financial Officer Erin Gerner will partner with Edwards to continue to provide overall leadership.
