It’s tragic to see that the majority in Congress continue to exhibit sociopathic behavior. Likewise for our president and his Cabinet. Since they also approve our judiciary, the “checks and balances” mechanism has also been eroded.
Sociopaths want to dominate rather than empower others. They lack a level of conscience that helps decide right from wrong. Sociopaths will lie and cheat, when necessary, to retain power. They will refuse to reform our election process, seeing debate on issues as a threat to their power. This enables the two corrupt parties and their mega-donor partners to control our democracy, our economy and our foreign policy.
Public opinion is no longer relevant to the current sociopathic leadership. Majorities of Americans want a cease-fire in Gaza and Ukraine, health care for all, affordable housing, a living wage, a fair tax system, an education system that works, a military that is primarily for defense and a lot more diplomacy rather than more war. If provided, the listed needs and wants would really “make America great again.” Opposing a cease-fire in Gaza and in Ukraine is a sign of a candidate’s inhumanity. Lacking humanity, a candidate will be easily influenced by big-donor politics.
