Letter: Try out traffic cameras

By Ellen Gentry, CAMAS

We have seen the dangerous driving that results from the lack of enforcement. I agree that the city council should prioritize funding for traffic enforcement, but pulling over speeding and reckless drivers puts the police officer, and perhaps other drivers, in danger. It seems to me that the answer would be to invest in camera technology. This could begin by placing cameras at the most dangerous intersections and be built upon each year.
