Letter: Trump is not to be believed

Believing Trump is a lot like belief in Bigfoot. They are both outliers, Trump’s not another boring politician and Bigfoot is not just another animal. There’s a Bigfoot clan and a MAGA clan, only loyal believers are welcome. Those that don’t believe are just not informed as to what is really going on, in or out of the woods. The best thing is both Trump and Bigfoot tend to annoy “the elites.”

Of course both beliefs take a huge leap of faith. Fish and Game know how many mountain goats we have in this state. We had a badger near Mount Hood and everyone knew. Let’s face it, those 2020 stolen election scenarios range from ridiculous to laughable. Trump’s many lies are indisputable, they have never and will never hold up in court.

It’s scary to think true believers may be asked to sacrifice their lives for Trump or Bigfoot. The Bigfooters’ response would be “I guess it is a legend.” I expect the MAGA response will be “I guess he is a liar and a crook.” Any other response would be insanity.
