Letter: Nothing godly about Trump

By Don Howard, Camas

Watching television recently, I was absolutely bewildered by an Iowa voter’s comment. The lady said, “I am proud to do the Lord’s work by helping Trump.”

How could this lady associate the Lord’s work with Trump, who tried to overthrow the election, had his followers attack the Capitol, separated children from their parents at the border, verbally defamed his past assault victims, pepper-sprayed a crowd for his own photoshoot and lied more than 30,000 times during his presidency?

I would be much more inclined to associate Trump’s work with someone far different than the Lord.
