Ireland Albaugh scored 21 points and hit five of her team’s 10 3-pointers as the Washougal girls basketball beat Woodland 61-54 to keep their season alive.
After winning Tuesday’s fifth-place tiebreaker, the Panthers (11-11) will host Aberdeen in a 2A district play-in game on Thursday.
Jenna Klopman scored 16 points and Addilyn Gibbons added 13 points for Washougal, which steadily built its lead to 48-46 after three quarters in the game at Fort Vancouver High.
Woodland freshman Kennedy Bockert scored 28 points to cap a record-setting campaign. She set single-season program records in points (438) and rebounds (301).
