There will either be a clean finish to the 4A Greater St. Helens League season or chaos.

Skyview has a clear path at being the league champion after Battle Ground knocked off Camas 76-67 on Monday at Camas.

Skyview (12-7, 4-1 4A GSHL) plays at Union (9-11, 1-4) on Tuesday night, needing only a win to get the league title and No. 1 seed to bi-district. However, a Union win would create a tie for first and a tie for third and both would have to be played off.

Battle Ground (8-11, 2-4) and Camas (12-8, 4-2) kept things close for three quarters before the Tigers pulled away in the fourth.

Camas led 53-51 going into the final eight minutes where the Tigers’ Trey Spencer, Austin Ralphs and Noah Currie combined for 23 of their team’s 25 points.

Ralphs finished with a double-double of 21 points and 10 rebounds, Spencer had a team-high 26 points, and Currie added 11 points.

Camas’ Beckett Currie led all scorers with 27 points, and Jace VanVoorhis had 12 points for the Papermakers.

KELSO 69, EVERGREEN 60 — The Hilanders avenged a loss to the Plainsmen one month ago and claimed an outright 3A Greater St. Helens League title on the team’s senior night.

Michael Henderson led Kelso with 22 points, Hayden Yore added 18 points and Easton Marshall chipped in 13 points. The Hilanders (15-5, 7-1) flipped momentum after outscoring the Plainsmen 26-11 in the second quarter and led for the remainder of the game.

Kelso won its first league title since the 2021-22 season, and will play host Timberline in a 3A bi-district, winner-to-state playoff game on Saturday.

Despite jumping out to a double-digit lead in the opening quarter, Evergreen (12-8, 6-2) was unable to sustain its early momentum. The Plainsmen battled foul trouble with Arthur Ban and Shawn Jack fouling out, while Fox Crader and Kai Speer each picked up four fouls. Kelso shot 26-of-34 from the free-throw line and Evergreen went 8-of-17.

Dez Daniel led Evergeen with 18 points.

The Plainsmen finished second in the 3A GSHL and returned to the 3A bi-district playoffs after a one-year absence. Evergreen will play host to Yelm on Saturday in a loser-out game.

COLUMBIA RIVER 78, HOCKINSON 56 — Ari Richardson scored 28 points as the Rapids clinched second place in the 2A GSHL with a home win.

Richardson had 14 points and four 3-pointers in the second quarter as Columbia River outscored Hockinson 27-16 to lead 38-28 at halftime.

Aaron Hoey added 14 points for Columbia River (15-6, 13-3, 2A GSHL). The Rapids will host Evergreen Conference No. 3 Black Hills in a district first-round game Saturday.

Payton Poppe scored 15 points to lead Hockinson (10-10, 8-8). As the 2A GSHL’s fifth-place team, the Hawks will host Shelton in a district play-in game Thursday.

MOUNTAIN VIEW 67, HERITAGE 56 — Daniel Dolev scored 12 points to lead a balanced scoring attack as the Thunder wrapped up their season with a 3A GSHL road win.

Dolev hit three of Mountain View’s six 3-pointers in the first quarter as the Thunder built a 22-16 lead. Mountain View (6-13, 3-5 3A GSHL) finished with 11 3-pointers by six different players.

Jayce Gallant scored 23 points to lead Heritage (2-18, 0-8).
