A bicyclist was seriously injured Tuesday afternoon in a crash while crossing Mill Plain Boulevard near PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center in Vancouver.
According to Vancouver police, the bicyclist was crossing the intersection near 87th Avenue about 1:30 p.m. to head north and was struck by a vehicle heading east on Mill Plain.
The bicyclist, whose identity was not released, was taken to PeaceHealth with life-threatening injuries.
The driver stopped and was cooperative with police. There were no signs of impairment with the driver of the vehicle.
The department’s traffic unit is investigating.
