Letter: Words of wisdom for election

By Stewart Dall, LONGVIEW

From Socrates: “I cannot teach anybody anything. I can only make them think.”

From Plato: “If you do not take an interest in the affairs of your government, then you are doomed to live under the rule of fools.”

From James Madison: “It has been said that all government is an evil. It would be more proper to say that the necessity of any government is a misfortune. The necessity, however, exists; and the problem to be solved is, not what government is perfect, but which of all the forms is less imperfect.”

Please decide which group of elites trying to control the 2024 presidential election is going to be the best for America citizens and vote accordingly. Choose wisely.
