Coroner ID’s human remains found off Old Pacific Highway South

LONGVIEW — The Cowlitz County Coroner’s Office has identified the body found in May in a rural, residential part of Kelso.

Cowlitz County Coroner Dana Tucker said Thursday in press release the remains were identified through DNA as Miguel A. Lara-Camacho, 21, of Pennsylvania.

His body was discovered about 12:30 p.m. May 3 in the 2900 block of Old Pacific Highway South.

He disappeared from a Longview residence in August 2023, the coroner said.

The cause of death has not been released.
