Highway 14 is closed in both directions at Milepost 15 near Parker’s Landing in Camas due to a seven-vehicle crash that killed one person, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation and the Washington State Patrol.

About noon, westbound lanes of the highway were blocked when a manufactured home got stuck between railings on the Camas Slough Bridge.

Trooper Will Finn said on social media that a vehicle in traffic behind the stuck manufactured home tried to make a U-turn, causing the seven-vehicle crash. One person was killed and two other were transported to area hospitals with serious injuries.

While the manufactured home has been removed from the bridge, the agency says drivers should expect delays and use alternate routes.

Westbound lanes of Highway 14 are being routed onto Washougal River Road, according to the city of Washougal. Eastbound traffic is being diverted onto Frontage Road.

There is no word when the highway will reopen around the crash.

Traffic is slowed and backed up in and around Camas because of the closure.
