All northbound lanes of the Interstate 5 Bridge will be closed Saturday for work on the drawbridge sign and mechanical systems.
The closure will begin at 11 p.m. Saturday and all northbound lanes open again at 7 a.m. Sunday morning. The northbound onramp from Hayden Island to Interstate 5 will close during the same hours, according to an Oregon Department of Transportation news release.
The sidewalk on the northbound span will close, but the sidewalk on the southbound span will remain open. Washington-bound traffic can take Interstate 84 east to Interstate 205 north across the Glenn Jackson Bridge over the Columbia River, according to Oregon’s transportation department.
