Pacific Northwest Fundraising recently announced the appointment of Cheri Martin as its new senior steward of fundraising and community partnerships. Martin joins Pacific Northwest Fundraising with more than 20 years of expertise in the nonprofit sector, having held various leadership roles where she successfully drove fundraising initiatives and fostered community partnerships. Eddie Allen, owner and lead guide at Pacific Northwest Fundraising, said, “This is a significant step forward for PNWF, and we are confident that Cheri’s leadership will lead to remarkable outcomes for the organizations we serve.”

Other business news

Several Southwest Washington wastewater treatment plants recently received the state Department of Ecology’s Outstanding Performance Award.

The Clark County wastewater plants that received the honor are Camas, Vancouver Marine Park, Ridgefield, Salmon Creek and Vancouver Westside.

The Cowlitz County awardees included the Woodland Wastewater Treatment Facility.
