The Vancouver Girls Softball Association fields on the Salmon Creek Greenway and the greenway trail have reopened after being closed due to a sewer line overflow.

Clark County closed the fields and the trail Monday after a waterline break nearby caused a sewer line to overflow.

Clark Regional Wastewater District completed cleanup in the area, and the trail and ballfields are now safe for use, according to a statement from Clark County.

The main entrance to the Salmon Creek ballfields remains closed while Clark Public Utilities repairs the water main. Portable toilets are available near the ballfields.

Parking is only available at the main entrance to Salmon Creek Regional Park and Klineline Pond, which does require a parking fee; access to the ballfields and trail is restricted to foot traffic.

More information about parking fees can be found at clark.wa.gov/public-works/parking-fees.
