Letter: Perez represents all of district

Once again we will have the choice in November between Joe Kent and Marie Gluesenkamp Perez for the 3rd Congressional District.

In two years, Kent has not modified any of the very extreme positions he staked out in 2022. From denying the presidential election results from 2020 to the effectiveness of vaccine mandates, it’s the same old Joe. Like all the MAGA candidates, Kent offers an information salad of falsehoods.

On instructions from Dear Leader Trump, Kent’s MAGA cohorts from less-sensible districts who did win election to Congress in 2022 delayed action on aid for Ukraine in its war with Russia, which surely cost thousands of Ukrainian lives, and tabled a solidly conservative compromise deal to actually resolve the border/immigration problem. Dear Leader Donald opposed aid to Ukraine out of loyalty to Vladimir Putin and opposed the immigration bill because he wanted the issue for his campaign.

Does the 3rd District wish to send someone to Congress who would legislate on behalf of Donald Trump or legislate on behalf of them? Marie Gluesenkamp Perez has taken some positions that are more conservative than mine, but I believe she is representing the whole district, not just me. That is what she is supposed to do.
