Washington State Patrol plans aerial traffic enforcement in Southwest Washington

Washington State Patrol troopers are conducting aerial traffic enforcement this week in Southwest Washington.

Troopers will fly at night and use airplanes’ cameras to report traffic violations. They are specifically looking for aggressive and reckless drivers, and they can often detect impaired drivers, a news release states.

The State Patrol reminds drivers to reduce their speeds, increase their following distance, use their seat belts and don’t drive under the influence.
