Clark County Clean Water Commission seeks to fill vacancies

Clark County is seeking volunteers to fill three open positions on the Clean Water Commission.

Two terms begin in October and end December 2027. The third term begins January 2025 and ends December 2027.

The commission meets 6-8 p.m. the first Wednesday of every other month, starting in February. Meetings can be attended in-person or virtually via Microsoft Teams.

Applicants must be residents of Clark County, either in unincorporated areas of the county or within one of its cities. Professional experience in stormwater management is not required. Applicants from historically underserved or underrepresented populations are encouraged to apply.

Members should have a passion for the area’s streams and rivers and the ability to commit to volunteer hours beyond the six annual meetings.

Submit a letter of interest and a resume to Clark County Public Works Clean Water Division, attention Devan Rostorfer, P.O .Box 5000, Vancouver WA 98660-5000 or via email to cleanwater@clark.wa.gov. Applications must be received by 5 p.m. Sept. 9.
