VANCOUVER — At the Clark County Fair, the Clark County Food Bank received $7,500 from Fred Meyer. The donation will help feed some of the 135,000 individuals who visit the food bank for emergency food and services.
“We are incredibly grateful to Fred Meyer for its commitment to helping alleviate hunger and its root causes,” said Rachel Beck, Clark County Food Bank director of development. “With almost 25 percent of the population of Southwest Washington experiencing hunger, Clark County Food Bank relies on the generosity of our community to support our most vulnerable neighbors, friends and families.”
“At Fred Meyer, we have a purpose to feed the human spirit. We are committed to reaching zero hunger and zero waste in our communities,” said Tiffany Sanders, Fred Meyer corporate affairs manager. “We are honored to support the Clark County Food Bank.”
