Letter: Trump unfit to be president

Donald Trump recently told a conservative Christian voter conference that they won’t have to vote anymore if he’s elected. Not surprising, since this is the man that embraces dictators and tried to stop the peaceful transfer of leadership on Jan. 6, 2021.

He will say or do anything to accomplish his goal of putting himself first. This is shown in his recent wavering statements at the conference on abortion. He is a three-time married adulterer. And, candidly, has broken most if not all 10 Commandments.

His speech at the Republican convention showed his true narcissistic bent when he wondered off the prepared remarks to demonstrate his lack of intelligence and integrity. He is now the assisted living candidate in the race with poor cognitive and negative communication skills.

A large majority of former Trump officials have denounced supporting him. Former Defense Secretary Mark Esper has called him “a threat to democracy.” Former National Security Adviser John Bolton declared him “unfit to be president.”

President Joe Biden showed courage and love of country in his recent decision to relinquish power and not run again. Trump has never put the country before himself. Trump has neither earned nor deserves the vote of Americans.
