CAMAS – Camas Lions brought smiles and full bellies to the Washougal community on June 7. Volunteers planned, cooked and served a tamale and rice meal at Refuel Washougal-Friday Meals, a program fighting hunger since 2015.
Every Friday, 80 to 140 guests find comfort and connection over a hearty meal at the Washougal Community Center. The Camas Lions stepped up in June to ensure no one went hungry, exemplifying their commitment to Lions International’s global fight against hunger.
