Letter: Support Lewallen for Congress

By Don Chaney, CAMAS

Without reservation, I support Leslie Lewallen in her candidacy for Washington’s 3rd Congressional District. Understanding her core values and style inspires my endorsement. Her drive, experience and compassionate listening are traits that guide her accomplishments.

Like others, I worry about our nation’s chaotic extreme political polarization, deterioration of criminal accountability and interpersonal civility.

Contrasts with Leslie’s primary opponents’ demonstrated and expressed views are notable. From a reversal in the current incumbent’s paraphrase: “no one is losing sleep over the southern border” to her rival challenger’s conspiracy theories.

Please, research Leslie for yourself and then join me in supporting her with your vote.
