School resource officers from the Clark County Sheriff’s Office will return to Prairie High School this fall after a four-year absence, according to Battle Ground Public Schools.

The sheriff’s office pulled resource officers from high schools in 2020 due to financial constraints and the pandemic.

The full details of the contract haven’t been made available, but district officials said a deputy will work full-time on site at Prairie for the 2024-2025 school year.
