Recap: The Raptors (27-21) took the lead with a two-run seventh inning to win the series at Yakima, where the temperature at the start of the game was 101 degrees.

Raptors bats: Justin Stransky (Fresno State) increased his hit streak to eight games by going 3 for 4 with a double and RBI. He has 17 hits over his last eight games, hitting .531 with 11 RBI. … Leadoff hitter Taylor Takata (Hawai’i) had his second consecutive 3 for 4 game and knocked in three runs. … Also getting in on the three-hit parade was designated hitter Safea Mauai (Chaminade) with a 3 for 5 night. … Ryan Camacho (West Texas A&M) and Julian Nunez (Pepperdine) were both 2 for 5 with Nunez hitting a double.

Raptors arms: Isaiah Magdaleno (Hawai’i) improved to 4-0 by going 6 2/3 innings with three earned runs, three strikeouts and two walks. His ERA is now 1.10 in 32 2/3 innings pitched. … Jake Geiss (Loyola Marymount) and Camden Oram (Linfield) finished up with no-hit ball over the last 2 1/3 innings. … Oram earned his second save.

Up next: The Raptors host the Springfield Drifters on Fan Appreciation Night in the final regular-season home series beginning at 6:35 p.m. Friday. The first 400 fans through the RORC gates will receive the team’s final set of trading cards and there will be prizes given out every inning.
