Letter: Make America kind again

Let’s irradiate “fear” from our personal and political discourse. Replace it with “perseverance, thoughtfulness, respect, creativity, reflection.” All of us are smarter than any of us alone. Let’s work for win-win! Live in possibilities.

“Fight” engenders fear, anger, hatred, violence, even paranoia and suicide. It shuts down thought and creativity. It interferes with community. Let’s put our minds together and create possibility. Make America kind again — or for the first time.

We encourage readers to express their views about public issues. Letters to the editor are subject to editing for brevity and clarity. Limit letters to 200 words (100 words if endorsing or opposing a political candidate or ballot measure) and allow 30 days between submissions. Send Us a Letter
