Art at the CAVE, 108 E Evergreen Blvd., Vancouver, seeks artists for its June exhibit, “The Human Race.” Two-dimensional, sculptural and video art up to three minutes long will be considered. The show centers on the human relation to the natural world. Art will be selected by jury. The deadline to submit art is May 14. There is a $15 fee to submit up to three items. Artists will be notified by May 24 and opening reception for the exhibit is 4 to 8 p.m. June 3.

The gallery also invites all artists to take part in August’s exhibit, “Belonging.” Works should seek to answer the question, “What is belonging? What does it feel like to belong or not belong?” Two-dimensional, sculptural and video art will be considered. The deadline to submit art is 9 p.m. July 10. A jury will select art pieces for the show. The gallery will donate its commission on all sales to the YWCA.

For complete details about both these shows and guidelines for submitting art, see artatthecave.com.
