RIDGEFIELD – Ridgefield School District officials recognized the April employee and students of the month at the April 9 school board meeting.
The April employee of the month is Amber Zirkle, lead recess staff member at South Ridge Elementary School. She helps to create recess play experiences for students that are fun and provide the kinds of movement opportunities kids need to continue learning. She is also the fourth grade leadership adviser. Just recently the leadership students organized and implemented a canned food drive to benefit the Ridgefield Family Resource Center.
The April students of the month are: Marli Gore, Jayden Lopez, Everett Simmons, Valeria Cerna-Arias, Isabelle Brown, Drew Myer and Xander Bredemeyer.
