Letter: Road repairs are needed

By Ron Abbey, Vancouver

Once again, Clark County is at the butt end of road repairs. Based on what I see on Facebook, the Seattle area continuously gets concrete panel replacement to make their roads safer. What do we get? Ramp lights. The Washington State Department of Transportation tells me they are “significantly underfunded for preservation type work.” One of these days, one of those shifting panels will cause a crash. Can the state afford the litigation on that?
