Letter: Housing is needed in Battle Ground

By Martha Maier, Vancouver
Published: April 10, 2024, 6:00am

I was surprised to see that the Battle Ground City Council recently voted against adding more affordable housing to the area when the need is so great. I hope the councilors who voted against it — Shane Bowman, Tricia Davis, and Eric Overholser — will let the community know their concerns about the project so they can be addressed by Vancouver Housing Authority and the developer. The proposed 95 affordable units of Eaton Park are desperately needed.
