Letter: Support Ridgefield school bonds

By Abigail Cedano, Ridgefield
Published: April 2, 2024, 6:00am

As an educator and mother of three toddlers in Ridgefield, I back propositions 10 and 11 for Ridgefield schools. I’ve witnessed how schools can transform lives and sustain communities. Quality education shapes one’s perception of their hometown and fosters community engagement into adulthood. I aspire for my children to attend reasonably sized schools where they will have personalized attention and ample extracurricular opportunities to explore passions.

When they graduate, I hope they will continue to support Ridgefield, regardless of their future residence. Vote “yes” for Ridgefield schools by April 23 for a bright future for our children and our community.
