The playground at LeRoy Haagen Memorial Park in east Vancouver will close on Monday, Oct. 2 for a resurfacing of the play area.

The playground will close through Friday, Oct. 20, subject to weather delays, while crews install poured-in-place rubber surfacing to replace the existing rubber tiles that have begun to deteriorate. The park will remain open through the project.
