VANCOUVER — Longtime sponsor and mentor Glen Aronson of Iron Gate Storage has donated $20,000 to Furry Friends Cat Shelter for its building fund. The funds will go toward a new medical building that will be built on the shelter’s property.
Aronson helped Furry Friends with the paperwork required to purchase the shelter in 2016 and all of the construction requirements that came along with it.
The new medical building has received preliminary approval from the city, and the hope is to build it within the next few years. Those looking to volunteer with Furry Friends can reach out at information@furryfriendswa.org.
