Noah Larson of Columbia River boys golf is the The Columbian 2023-24 Week 3 high school athlete of the week.

Larson received 2,813 of the 6,583 votes cast this week to win the honor.

The senior shot a 4-under-par 68 at Heron Lakes Greenback course helps River win a four-team match.

Nominees are posted and voting begins each Tuesday and runs through Thursday.

Here are the accomplishments of the other nominees:

PARKER MAIRS, CAMAS SOCCER: The senior had a goal and assist on the Papermakers’ two goals last week as Camas got a win and a draw.

DAVIS SULLIVAN, RIDGEFIELD CROSS COUNTRY: The junior won a league tri-meet, then won the varsity division race at The Mook XC Invite in Tillamook.

ROWAN THAWANI, UNION TENNIS: The senior scored a 6-2, 6-3 win over Leo Zhao in the No. 1 singles match, leading Union to 4-2 win over Camas.
