During a pivotal third quarter, Seton Catholic outscored Life Christian Academy 29-0 to turn a halftime deficit into a 53-34 road win at Mount Tahoma High School in Tacoma on Saturday.
Joe Callerame scored five touchdowns (four receiving, one rushing) for the Cougars (3-0) and Jacob Williams added a rushing touchdown while also running in a two-point conversion on the ground.
Callerame caught scoring passes of 32, 61, 42 and 53 yards from Kolten Gesser, who threw for 255 yards. Callerame also added a 9-yard touchdown run to cap a third-quarter outburst from the Cougars (3-0).
Seton trailed 22-7 in the second quarter and 22-14 at halftime before outscoring Life Christian 29-0 in the third quarter to seize control. Jacob Williams, who finished with 107 rushing yards, capped the opening drive of the half with a 4-yard scoring run, and Callerame added three TDs in the quarter.
