Decker Bartell hauled in a 30-yard touchdown pass from Nate Stephens and the Monarchs defense shut out the Fishermen on Friday in Astoria.
Benjamin Whiteside put Mark Morris ahead with a 1-yard touchdown run in the second quarter. Bartell followed with his touchdown to put the Monarchs ahead 15-0 at halftime.
Brady Schlecht added a 15-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter as the Monarch bounced back from a season-opening loss to Battle Ground.
