Travelers may encounter nighttime ramp closures along Interstate 5, Interstate 205, Highway 14 and Highway 500 on weekdays and weekends starting the week of Sept. 11.
The closures will allow a Washington State Department of Transportation contractor to give the ramps a face lift, providing fresh asphalt to create a smoother and safer ride with better traction and new pavement markings.
During weekdays, the ramp and shoulder closures will be limited to between 7 p.m. and 5 a.m. Occasional weekend lane, ramp and shoulder closures will be limited to between 9 p.m. and 8 a.m.
