Skyview is No. 4 in Class 4A in first Associated Press state football rankings

Skyview debuted at No. 4 in Class 4A as the Associated Press released its first state high school football rankings of the season.

A panel of seven sports writers from around the state cast votes this week. Skyview garnered 39 points to rank No. 4 at Class 4A after a 28-0 win over Jesuit of Oregon. Lake Stevens received four first-place votes to rank No. 1, and Graham-Kapowsin picked up the other three first-place votes to come in at No. 2.

La Center came in at No. 6 in Class 1A after a 43-7 win over Hockinson.

Washougal was ranked No. 10 in Class 2A and Kalama was ranked No. 10 in Class 2B.
