Ronaldo Salazar-Gonzalez had two touchdown runs in a 22-point fourth quarter as Timberline pulled away for a 31-3 win over Kelso on Friday.
Tate Meade’s 31-yard field goal pulled Kelso within 6-3 with 1:11 left in the first half at South Sound Stadium in Lacey.
But Timberline dominated the fourth quarter. Cedric Ragland’s 11-yard touchdown catch put the Blazers ahead 13-3 with 7:35 left. Salazar-Gonzalez followed with two touchdowns, both from 21 yards.
Kelso was held to 132 yards, including 44 yards rushing.
