Jacob Williams rushed for four touchdowns and the Cougars used a first-quarter scoring blitz to earn a Trico League win over the Knights.
Seton Catholic led 34-0 after the first quarter with Williams punching in a pair of 1-yard touchdowns. Ryker Ruelas also caught touchdowns of 5 and 25 yards from Kolton Gesser.
Gesser completed 12 of 14 passes for 169 yards, 76 of which went to Joe Callerame,
Callerame also had a 44-yard punt return for a touchdown and a 5-yard touchdown run.
Williams rushed for 98 yards on 14 carries. He also caught three passes for 30 yards.
Seton Catholic finished the season 8-1 overall and 5-1 in the Trico League to earn the league’s No. 2 seed to the Class 1A state preliminary round. The Cougars will host Tenino, the No. 3 seed from the Evergreen Conference.
