Suns take down Blazers in Portland’s preseason finale 117-106

PHOENIX — Kevin Durant and Devin Booker scored 19 points apiece and the Phoenix Suns cruised past the visiting Portland Trail Blazers 117-106 on Monday in what was the Blazers’ preseason finale.

Durant hit 6 of 10 shots with a 3-pointer and 6 of 7 at the free-throw line for the Suns (3-1). He added four assists and three rebounds, playing 15 minutes.

Booker played three more minutes than Durant, sinking 6 of 11 shots with four 3s and four assists. Grayson Allen had 13 points and Bradley Beal scored 11.

Shaedon Sharpe had 19 points and Skylar Mays scored 18 to lead the Blazers (1-3).

Scoot Henderson, the third overall pick this year, had eight points on 3-for-11 shooting with five assists in a start. First-rounder Kris Murray contributed 12 points, four rebounds and four steals. Murray missed all eight of his 3-pointers but made 6 of 7 from inside the arc.

Toumani Camara, a second-round selection by Phoenix who was acquired as part of the three-team trade that sent Damian Lillard to the Milwaukee Bucks, started and hit 1 of 2 foul shots. He missed all three of his shots but added three assists, a steal and a block in 13 minutes.
