One person was killed in an early Monday morning motorcycle crash west of Brush Prairie, according to the Clark County Sheriff’s Office.
At about 2 a.m., a witness called to report a motorcycle left the roadway at Northeast 159th Street and 92nd Avenue in the Meadow Glade area, the sheriff’s office said in a statement. The caller said the rider was injured.
Both 159th and 92nd are two-lane rural roads with no sidewalks or shoulders in that area.
Emergency responders said the rider of the motorcycle died at the scene, according to the statement. No other injuries were reported, and the sheriff’s office didn’t release any other details.
The sheriff’s office closed the intersection for the investigation, which is being conducted by detectives with the Clark County Sheriff’s Office Traffic Unit.
